As the official fashion magazine of Evanston Township High School, theSeeN provides a venue for students to express their passion for self expression through fashion; articles range from fashion and beauty ‘how to’s’ to social pieces that explore societal perceptions of beauty.
Students produce a magazine publication in print and publish an online blog. Student staff collaborate in: writing, photography, hair & make-up, fashion styling, layout, advertising, marketing, business relationships and graphic design. SeeN staff also assist in developing a web presence for the organization, including: social media, fashion blog and website. SeeN staff also organizes a yearly fashion show highlighting styles and trends from community retailers. Staff also benefit from the opportunity to be mentored by beauty, fashion and communications professionals in the community.
